This group has not had much actual Meetups, in part because I believe that most people find it easier to meet compatible people at events that focus on shared interests, rather than just on the fact that they are single. I encourage you to join other Meetups and meet people that way. If you want to try to create an event focused on singles, you should be able to schedule it without my involvement or permission (I've modified how this Meetup group is configured). --- Single in Vermont and looki …

The Vermont Development Network (VTDevNet) was formed to help people working in developing countries and on issues of international development network to share best practices, resources, and their experiences. The goal is to foster an environment where people can network with each other and leverage their experiences to better their work in this field. We hold regular happy hours, and are starting to have events and panel discussions. You can also visit us at www.VTDevNet.org)
Are you looking to join a fun-friendly group to play soccer? Look no further! We are beginners playing to have a good time and get some exercise. Our meet-up is every Sunday, 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the Miller Recreation and Community Center located at 130 Gosse Court in Burlington. If it is nice out we play in the field beside the Center. The only thing you need to bring is a pair of sneakers. Everything else is supplied. There is a nice changing room, water cooler and plenty of free parking. The c …
My husband and I have a collection of over 70 board, card, and tile games. He and I are pretty evenly matched so we thought we would expand and invite more people to play. Also some games require three or more players. Here is a sampling of some of our games: Carcassone, Aquire, San Marco, Pandemic, Mexica, Settlers of Cantan, Power Grid, The Princes of Florence, Stratego, Jambo, Clue, 1856, Scattergories, Mhing, Rack-o, Pictionary, Made for Trade, Apples to Apples, Pit, Mille Bornes, Spite and …
We are a group of women who meet once a month to share our opinions on a selected book while dining at a restaurant or at someone's house in the Chittenden County area. The book cover that represents our group is the book we are reading right now. Tori (Organizers)

It's that time of year again -- the seasons are changing, and so is the beer! I thought this would be a great way for beer lovers to unwind and share our common love of all things beer. The plan is to meet up once a month and sample the tasty offerings of Burlington and Vermont alike. The first meet up is scheduled for the first week of November. Come one, come all!

This group was started for more of the laid back type of hikers that are looking to do an average of 2 to 5 miles a hike and just enjoy getting out and exercising, maybe hitting a brewery afterwards to enjoy a cold one (nothing tastes better than a cold beer after a good sweat!) or just enjoy the company of your fellow hikers. The exercise is good to keep the beer gut away and Vermont is such a beautiful place to explore, so please join us!

This is a low key, FREE, and FUN knitting group that will meet regularly in the Burlington area. Vermont (and especially Vermont winters!) and knitting go together like peas and carrots, so it is time for a casual group of knitters to meet, talk, drink a little wine, laugh, make new knitting friends, and learn from each other! This group is for knitters and crocheters of all levels. We can use this venue to let others know about upcoming knitting events organized by the meetup group, as well as …
There's a lack of organization in the greater Burlington area when it comes to trail running, which makes no sense. We are surrounded by beautiful trails, mountains, hills, lakes, ponds, streams, meadows, and mud puddles just asking for us to play in and around them. The Long Trail Running Club is being organized to build a community of trail lovin' runners; providing us a place to communicate, coordinate, socialize, share stories, trail and race reports, and get dirty while doing something hea …
